Our Staff

I began my journey with horses as a teenager, exchanging babysitting services for riding
lessons and even volunteering at DRDA as a teen. After a hiatus from horses, during which
I worked as a nanny and then in dairy farming, I began volunteering in 2013, initially by
mucking out paddocks, and have been involved ever since, working in many roles up to
coaching.

Horses are my life long passion! I got my first pony (a Shetland) when I was 4 years old! Attended Pony club and did local competitions in my teenage years. These days I own two standardbred geldings. I enjoy trekking, and have done the Otago Goldfields Cavalcade twice so far (a week long riding event held around different locations in central Otago) and I am an active committee member and attendee of our local Outram Cowboy challenge group. Outside of RDA I am self employed offering animal care services to Lifestyle block owners when they are away or need assistance with animal care.
